PATIENT TESTIMONIALS:
"“I don’t ever remember not having a headache. I figure by now, at age 54, I have been to at least three dozen doctors, had over 50 different medicines and had every test possible for migraine, yet I still have spent well over 15,000 days with headache. I first saw Dr. Frank July 3, 2004. I told him I would try it like I had tried dozens of other doctors, but not to get his hopes up. He wanted to see me 3 times a week for a month. Fine, I had nothing to lose. Within one day after having my first adjustment I felt better. Not so exhausted and my incontinence disappeared. My Torticollis was gone within 3 weeks but I still could barely walk when Dr. Frank decided to try something different. He adjusted my neck while I sat up. I immediately felt a huge rush like an IV of energy rushing through my body. When I got home and out of the car I realized I wasn’t so off balance. ‘No, that’s impossible!’ I thought. But by two days later I could walk into Dr. Frank’s office without my cane! I could walk again!!!!
Thank you Dr. Frank for giving me my life back through your hands and wisdom and God.”" - ~Linda C
"“Kevin was diagnosed at age 5 or 6 with encopresis (chronic constipation marked by soiling/frequent accidents). He also complained of frequent stomach aches and headaches. After only 2 weeks of chiropractic care, Kevin was going to the bathroom through his own initiative. Kevin also gained a tremendous amount of coordination in his legs and a boost in energy. He no longer complains of stomach aches or headaches. Chiropractic has helped Kevin and us to understand that he can’t control what he can’t feel.”" - ~Kevin’s Parents
"“This is way overdue and though you never asked me to do so, my intention has been to write this for some time. When a friend referred you to me I was in a lot of pain with a pinched nerve in my neck, some disk problems and osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. It was almost impossible to back out my car as it was very painful to turn my head. There came a time when the Good Lord and Dr. L. had this conquered.
Because of Dr. L’s caring and competent help (and his helper, Jesus) I am back working out at the YMCA or walking and so grateful and blessed.”" - ~Juanita S
DESCRIPTION OF PRACTICE:
Chiropractic is a unique science that focuses on restoring and maintaining health, while most other healing arts are designed to treat disease. Our family chiropractic practice is provides a natural, conservative approach to your health care. Chiropractic is based on the fact that your body is a self-healing, self-regulating organism which is controlled by your nervous system (brain, spinal cord, and nerves).
Interference to the nervous system occurs when the moveable bones of the spine (vertebrae) slip out of place due to everyday jolts, bumps, twists, slips, or jars. This misalignment narrows the small openings between vertebrae through which the nerves pass to reach all parts of the body. When misalignment, or subluxation, happens, the vertebrae press on a nerve, irritate it, and interfere with the transmission of nerve signals to the body. Chiropractors detect and correct these subluxations, restoring the body’s nerve signals by gently replacing the bone to its normal position with gentle pressures called adjustments.
