After receiving his degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. McClung became fascinated with the beauty and structure of the human body. He went on to obtain his Doctor of chiropractic degree from the Texas Chiropractic College and became one of the first chiropractors in the nation to receive board certification from the American Academy of Pain Management.

After being involved in a rear-end auto collision himself, he obtained advanced certification in Whiplash and Brain Traumatology from the prestigious Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Recently he participated in full-scale auto crash testing with human subjects and state-of-the-art dummies to become certified in Motor Vehicle Crash Forensic Risk Analysis. He has treated several thousand patients injured in auto collisions and has become a victim's rights advocate. He is recognized as an expert witness by the courts and has testified numerous times.

Dr. McClung has also been recognized professionally by having served as President of the Texas Chiropractic Association, Central Texas Region, and as president of the Travis County Chiropractic Society. He has served as the "official team chiropractor" for the Austin Ice Bats and has worked extensively with the local medical community.

For over 20 years, Dr. McClung has served his community caring for thousands of families who now send him their children. Each year, he travels the country attending numerous seminars to keep current with the latest research and treatment techniques. Not only does he specialize in treating accident victims but now through his Creating Wellness Program, he also helps patients achieve optimal wellness.
