"In 1998, I woke about 1:00 am unable to move. Diagnosed with a ruptured disc and torn ligament between the 4th and 5th lumbar, I was given multiple muscle relaxors, pain medications, and physical therapy. Most of the oral medications took the edge off the pain but caused so many side effects. I couldnt tolerate them (mostly stomach and irritable bowel symptoms). The physical therapy helped and by continuing the stretches and exercises at home, the pain was bearable most of the time. But occasionally and more frequently each year, I had episodes of inflamed sciatic nerve, disrupted sleep, and walked bent over and very slowly. This was the case on my first visit with Dr. Seay. At the end of this first visit, I walked out in no pain and standing up straight. In the past year, I have had very little back pain, no sciatic nerve episodes, and sleep much better. "Like most people I went to see Dr. Seay because I had back pain. Of course, he took care of that in a few short visits. On one of those visits he had me step onto a machine that looked like a scale. A few minutes later he showed me pictures of my feet and discussed the obvious advantages of custom orthotics by Foot Levelers. A few weeks later they arrived. It was very easy to trim them and put them in my sneakers. Since then Ive LOVED them. My shins no longer hurt when I walk. My posture changed as I walked, and my feet no longer hurt after my walks.
