Joseph F. Ferstl, D.C.,DABCO, has been in private practice since 1984. He attended Loyola University in Chicago, majoring in Biology. He then attended National College of Chiropractic, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1981. Dr Ferstl,D.C. worked as an associate from 1981 to 1984, opening his own practice in 1984. In 1992, Dr. Ferstl,D.C. completed the Certified Sports Physican certification program and Dr. Ferstl,D.C. completed a four-year degree program in Chiropractic Orthopedics, at the National University of Health Sciences.

He obtained the board certification in Chiropractic Orthopedics in 1998. Dr. Ferstl,D.C. is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Illinois Chiropractic Society. He is director at large of the Illinois Chiropractic Society, and second vice president of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedic. He maintains a private practice in Elgin, Illinois. He specialized in treatment of musculoskeletal complaints and injuries.
